Meritas is an established global alliance of independent, full-service law firms. Since our founding in 1990, we have been distinguished by our quality standards. Leon Steinberg, a practicing lawyer and our founder, created Meritas in response to a need: He was frustrated by the difficulty of finding and hiring qualified, local counsel. And he was disappointed by the lack of quality control in firms outside his jurisdiction. Steinberg developed a rigorous system for evaluating firm performance and launched Meritas.

International Network of Boutique Law Firms

The International Network of Boutique Law Firms ("INBLF") is an organization of highly credentialed single-discipline (boutique) law firms, each of which, after a great deal of research, has been identified and hand-selected as prominent in each firm's respective field of practice.
